Doak Wins Big in Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women Straw Poll
Oklahoma City – Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak won big in the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women Straw Poll on June 7th, 2014, receiving 93% of the votes cast by everyone in attendance.
The Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women is a statewide organization of active and passionate women who have committed themselves to electing Republicans in the state of Oklahoma and promoting the values of the Republican Party.
“I have been a longtime and ardent supporter of the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women and their satellite organizations around the state,” Doak said. “ The long hours they have put in getting out signs, stuffing letters, making phone calls, and knocking doors for Republican candidates have been vitally important to the past and continuing success here in our great state of Oklahoma.”
John Doak is running for a second term as Oklahoma’s Insurance Commissioner. During his first term, Doak has been a state and national leader in opposing Obamacare, developing national models for disaster response, and has prioritized the protection and education of citizens of Oklahoma by visiting all 77 counties each year.
Doak recently announced that the Oklahoma Insurance Department has been able to return over $22.5 million back to the state Treasury that it was authorized to spend and has been a model for fiscal responsibility in state government.
